If this last minute poll proves right and if Trump is defeated by the election, Mr. Biden would have received the easiest win perhaps in the US history, making him one of the luckiest guys or politicians.
From the primary to the final election, Mr. Biden excels more because what he did NOT do or say than what he did. His best friend has been Donald Trump all along without a doubt. In a strong sense, every move Trump made has helped Biden campaign. To convince yourself of that, simply ask how many would have chosen Biden because they hated Trump?
The Biden presidency — or Biden status even if he did not win — provides the best example for game resources: Resources that are not controlled or owned by the agent but rather he can leverage and use just like they are owned or controlled.
Game resources cover both domains of owned and not owned resources. A smart and strong leader knows how best use owned and not owned game resources. Ownership does not always bring more advantages than not-owned resources. Resources not owned do not mean unrelated to the owned resources by the agent. In Biden’s case, his long and stable reputation and popularity in Washington D.C. certainly have helped, and his middle ground of political stance is also to his advantage. Even those resources seemingly generated entirely by Trump’s moves are related to Biden, his characters and his political stance, which are clearly owned by Biden only. Put differently and simply, while Trump may end up helping Biden, his moves would less likely help Sanders.
