OMG (or “Oh My Damn” like Yolanda from my favorite sit-com Young & Hungry would say), I have been thinking about writing a blog with a title similar to the one above for days, and this essay showed up on Google News today. Yeah, Trump definitely needs helps right now, and it’s a matter of national security imperative that someone from the American Psychiatric Association meets him in person and teaches him how to adapt to failures.
I am not a psychiatrist but there are clear signs that the guy needs help. For one thing, he has been awfully quiet and largely disappeared from public views for days. This is strange if you remember that the same guy was flying all over the places for his re-election campaign, showing an extremely high level of energy and adrenaline. From the news we know he has basically locked himself up in the WH to do just two things: Watching TV and making phone calls — all about the fictional theme of “voter fraud.” There is also the cancellation of his Thanksgiving trip back to Florida this year. That is just too much negativity on his mind to be healthy.
There is also too much selfish drive to be healthy. He has been kidnapped by his own sick logic that “if he lost, it was rigged; if he won, it was fair.” Someone needs to wake him up to leave that illusion behind. From a mental health and mental well-being perspective, tell him that it is better to look ahead for the future: He can always have another campaign in 2024 if that helps soothe his current pain.
What we do not need to worry about at this time — or any time in the future — is that the guy may kill himself. Simply put, he loves himself too much to commit suicide!
Suicide or not, it is to the best interest of this country — as well as to Trump himself — to move on, to release his anger, to look forward and to do the country perhaps a last favor: Helping a smooth power transition in the White House!
